Kristian Kimonides is a Melbournian who has been working in the tattoo industry since 2010. Kristian has always struggled to articulate exactly what his style is. Colour realism would be the most simple way to put it. He tend to stylise realism naturally. Kimonides deliberately overlook unnecessary details in order to focus on other principles of design such as contrast. He likes to create colour palettes that don’t necessarily reflect the reference perfectly but work harmoniously once tattooed. Steve Moore and Boris are among his greatest inspirations.
